WHAT IS RIGHTEOUS ANGER?
"Righteous anger stems from our response to "ungodly people or activities."* We see a wrongdoing and seek to make it right via redemptive means." True righteous anger results in restoring people into loving, healing relationships with Jesus and one another. Unrighteous anger emerges from an ungodly response to people and situations. It seeks payback for the perceived wrong and results in destruction of people and relationships. For further study on righteous and unrighteous anger: *What is Righteous Anger? (Christianity Today) |
