Merriam Webster Dictionary.
  • TRUST= assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something
  • FAITH=firm belief in something for which there is no proof; complete trust

​Based on this passage (Hebrews 11:1), write about what it means in your life.  Then tell what puzzles you about these words.  What other thoughts are prompted by these words?

  • What reasons might be given for not relying on one’s own insight? 
  • In detail, recall a time in your life when you fully acknowledged God in all your ways and discovered how a way was made for you. If you have never experienced this before, what might be standing in the way?
